I have been tattooing since 2002. I apprenticed under Ernie.

My artistic influences are Paul Booth, Guy Aitchison, Julie Moon, Colin Stevens, Hokusai and Sulamith Wulfing. I earned a BFA in 1987 at Swain School of Design in New Bedford, Massachusetts. I also went on do do 14 years of Med. Surgical Nursing. I enjoy working with composition as it reflects the shape of the surface I am working on. Flow and spatial relationships are also important aspects. I am enjoying using the medium of tattooing as a means of expression, and I am also enjoying the learning process. I love my work and am ecstatic that the industry has grown to the extent that it has. To have tattooing as a viable means of using my art to support myself is a truly wonderful and unique situation.
